Umm Al Quwain government employees woke up to a fantastic pay rise marking the 100th birthday of the late UAE president Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Emarat Alyoum reported.
UAE Supreme Federal Ruling Council member and Umm Al Quwain Ruler Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla ordered a 100 per cent pay rise marking the “Zayed Centenary”.
The initiative is in line with the UAE Federal Government’s drive to ensure Emirati citizens’ decent living standards.
