MUHARRAQ host Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia today in the first-leg of round of 16 of the Arab Football Clubs Championship at 6.45pm at Bahrain National Stadium.
Muharraq, coached by national coach Salman Shareeda, concluded their preparations last night with a final practice session at the Muharraq Club in Arad.

The Saudi club will be depending on key players like goalkeeper Mohammed Al Owais, defender Moataz Hawsawi and their ace striker Omar Al Somah, who was the top scorer in the Saudi league in the last years.
Muharraq Club president Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa last night announced that entry for the match will be free.
The match will be officiated by referees from the UAE, led by Yagoob Al Hammadi while Saud Hassan and Juma Al Makheeni will be his assistants and Hamad Ali the fourth official.
Egypt’s Ala’a Abdulaziz will be the match commissioner and Iraq’s Tariq Ahmed the referees Commissioner.
Muharraq will be playing in red jerseys and Al Ahli in green, it was announced following a technical committee meeting last night..
