Manama: Bahrain-based Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and the World Bank are gearing up to host their 10th annual conference on Islamic banking and finance next month.
During a Press conference at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, Hotel and Spa yesterday, AAOIFI secretary general Dr Hamed Hassan Merah said the two-day event, to be held at the same venue on December 6 and 7, will bring together more than 300 global financial industry experts and scholars, including those from leading Islamic and conventional financial institutions .
