CHRIS Pitpitunge from Team Lakay has signed with Bahrain-based Brave Combat Federation for the fight card at Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises to be held in Amman on March 2.
Pitpitunge was a police officer and a former PXC bantamweight world champion. He was the first fighter from the Philippines to be offered a contract by Brave during the launch of the promotion.
However, Pitpitunge couldn’t fight due to an injury. The current bantamweight champion Stephan Loman took that spot and defeated Franz Mlambo, who was training alongside Conor McGregor.
Pitpitunge will face Jalal Al Daaja of Jordan, who scored a first round victory over Jeremy Pacatiw at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.
Decisive
The bout is decisive as Pitpitunge will be looking forward to tally the scores with the fighter from Tiger Muay Thai.
Al Daaja will have the hometown advantage while Pitpitunge enters the cage to uphold the fighting pride of the Philippines and Team Lakay.
