Manama: Cars could soon be banned from the Manama Suq one day a week under new plans to make the capital’s historic trading heartland a vehicle-free zone.
The idea has been put forward by a committee set up to represent suq traders’ interests, whose vice-chairman is Mahmood Al Namlaiti .
