A photo of newly-appointed Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is making headlines.
The photo shows Prince Mohammed bin Salman when he was a grade 1 student in 1991.
His father, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who was then Riyadh Governor, told the school staff to treat his son on equal footing with his classmates, without any favouritism.
Prince Mohammed was among the top ten primary school graduates in Saudi Arabia, said Almarsd newspaper.
As a primary school student, Prince Mohammed played the role of his grandfather, the founder and first King of Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz Al Saud, in a school play.
The 31-year-old Crown Prince, was also the second best law graduate of his batch in Saudi Arabia.
