Manama: A parliamentary committee in charge of reviewing subsidies policy is considering a comprehensive proposal to redirect subsidies to benefit citizens and small businesses.
This would include reducing electricity rates and petrol costs and adding a subsidised basket of about 15 basic foods in the ration card .
