MANAMA: A brand new floating dock will be installed at Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company (Basrec)’s facilities in about 14 months, the company’s board member Khalid Y Abdulrahman has said.
Mr Abdulrahman told the GDN on the sidelines of the company’s annual general meeting (AGM) at Gulf Hotel yesterday that the new dock would cost the company about $16 million and was part of a wider capital expenditure programme .
