A man has been sentenced to five years in prison for photographing vital facilities during the Iranian aggression, the Public Prosecution said.
The Lower Criminal Court yesterday convicted the defendant of filming sensitive locations, despite the prohibition.
After receiving a report from the Interior Ministry about the case, the prosecution questioned the suspect, arrested him, interviewed witnesses and tasked experts with examining his electronic devices.
In a statement, the Public Prosecution stressed the need to protect sites of strategic importance, warning that sharing images, videos or information related to such locations could harm national security and expose offenders to legal action.
