GOLF – Awali Golf Club (AGC) captain Steve Newall executed the traditional Captain’s Drive in an attempt to hit the fairway on the 10th hole at AGC, marking the start of the club’s new season.
Newall later spearheaded his team in the Captain’s vs President’s teams’ four-ball better-ball competition, played over nine holes.
Newall’s side triumphed with a 6-1/2 to 2-1/2 score.
