BOWLING – RIFFA were crowned champions of the Bahrain Bowling Federation (BBF) Cup 2025.
Riffa secured the title after topping the overall standings at the end of the third and final round of play at Funland Centre’s lanes.
From the seven teams in action, Riffa were the top performers, taking down 2,182 pins. That brought their overall total to 6,811 after the three weeks of competition.
Umm Al Hassam followed in second place with a total of 6,573 pinfalls, while Isa Town were third on 6,449 pins from all three rounds. Al Hala finished in fourth place with 6,295 pins, Bahrain Club were fifth on 6,147, Al Ettifaq sixth with 5,645 pins, and Busaiteen seventh on a 5,360 total.
With these results, Riffa completed an impressive league-and-cup double for this season.
Team captain Abdulaziz Al Shaikh expressed his delight with the achievement. “We dedicate this victory to Riffa Club management, headed by Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, and to the fans and supporters of Riffa.
“Winning the cup after taking the league confirms the great effort and teamwork put in by the players as well as the technical and administrative staff.
“We hope to continue to perform at a high level in future competitions.”
