Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) has recently celebrated Nissan’s outstanding performance in the 2025 J D Power US Initial Quality Study (IQS).
“With a remarkable second-place finish among all automotive brands and the leading position in the global Mass-Market category, Nissan is setting new standards in vehicle quality,” said a YKA spokesperson.
The J D Power IQS evaluates new-vehicle quality by measuring issues reported by owners within the first 90 days of ownership, expressed as problems per 100 vehicles (PP100).
This year, Nissan achieved an impressive score of just 169 PP100, outpacing competitors like Hyundai (173 PP100) and Chevrolet (178 PP100).
“We are proud to represent a brand that prioritises quality and customer experience,” said YKA Nissan Bahrain general manager Ahmed Al Dailami.
“This achievement reflects our shared commitment to delivering exceptional vehicles to the market,” he added.
Now in its 39th year, the J D Power IQS surveys tens of thousands of new-vehicle owners after 90 days of ownership, assessing 227 possible issues across 10 categories to provide a comprehensive benchmark for early vehicle quality.
“We invite all our valued customers to discover our exceptional range of Nissan vehicles, crafted to deliver an unparalleled driving experience and meet the highest standards of excellence. Come visit us and find the perfect vehicle that fits your lifestyle,” said a Nissan Bahrain spokesperson.
