Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca) director general of antiquities Dr Salman Ahmed Al Mahari took part in the 23rd meeting of under-secretaries responsible for antiquities and museums in GCC countries, held in Kuwait.
The meeting addressed several key topics related to joint cultural efforts, including the 2025-2030 work plan of the committee on antiquities and museums, the annual schedule of events and activities in the field, the periodic joint archaeological exhibition, combating the illicit trafficking of cultural property and enhancing international co-operation in these areas .
