ENDURANCE HORSERACING – His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman and Bahrain Royal Endurance Team captain Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended yesterday the 26th edition of the UAE President’s Cup for Endurance, held at Emirates International Endurance Village in Al Wathba.
The event was also attended by UAE vice-president, deputy prime minister, and presidential court chairman Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shaikh Nasser emphasised the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE, noting that sport plays a key role in further developing these ties and enhancing competition among the youth of both nations.
Shaikh Nasser also highlighted that the Royal Endurance Team’s participation in the UAE President’s Cup reflects Bahrain’s support for the race and its commitment to enhancing the team’s experience in international events, which helps elevate their skills and promotes Bahrain’s endurance success.
Shaikh Nasser commended the high level of the competition’s participants, congratulating the winners and commending the efforts that made the event a success.
Royal Endurance Team rider Mohammed Khalid Al Rowaie finished seventh in the race after leading in several stages of the six-stage event.
