Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday officially inaugurated the paediatric hematology and oncology department at the Royal Medical Services (RMS)-Bahrain Oncology Centre, in conjunction with the 57th anniversary of the establishment of Bahrain Defence Force.
The opening ceremony was attended by Supreme Council for Health president Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Defence Minister Lieutenant General Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed, RMS Commander Brigadier Dr Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and senior invitees .
