The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by Dr Ahmed Al Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar, underscored the International Day of Human Fraternity as a significant occasion to promote shared human values, emphasising the principles of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence, peace and fraternity.
In a statement, the council highlighted the sixth anniversary of the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together, describing it as a milestone in modern humanitarian efforts .
