Riyadh - The Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier today at the Royal Court in Al-Yamamah Palace, Riyadh.
The Crown Prince welcomed President Steinmeier and his delegation to the Kingdom, wishing them a pleasant stay. The German president expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed aspects of bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation. They also discussed regional and international developments and efforts to address key issues.
The meeting was attended by senior Saudi officials, including Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal; Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz; Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan.
Other attendees included Minister of State and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Al-Kassabi, accompanying minister Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan, and Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih.
On the German side, the delegation included Federal Parliament member and Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office Katja Kuehl, German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Michael Kindsgrab, and other officials.
