Danish extremist party leader Rasmus Paludan has filmed and shared a video of burning the Quran outside the Turkish embassy in Copenhagen. The act was filmed and shared on the social media platform X.
Paludan was banned from holding demonstrations in the capital for 24 hours after Salwan Momika, the organiser of another public Quran-burning event in Sweden, was shot dead.
The party leader violated the ban in protest, stating that the January 31 demonstration was held to honour Momika's memory.
Paludan, known for his anti-Islamic videos, calls for a ban on Islam and the deportation of non-Western individuals granted asylum. The desecration of the holy Quran has sparked worldwide condemnation.
