Offenders of environmental rules and regulations could be granted more time to contest administrative penalties, under proposed amendments to Bahrain’s 2022 Environment Law that will be debated and voted on during Tuesday’s weekly session.The amendments, presented by MP Dr Ali Al Nuaimi, aim to extend the appeal period for offenders whose objections to penalties issued by the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE) are rejected .
