HANDBALL – Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) vice president Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa has urged Bahrain’s national handball team to deliver an exceptional performance at the 29th IHF Men’s World Handball Championship in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway next month.
During a visit to the team’s training at the Bahrain Handball Federation (BHF) hall, Shaikh Isa conveyed Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority (GSA) chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s greetings and best wishes for success. He urged the team to double their efforts, perform at their best, and achieve positive results to uphold Bahrain’s reputation.
Shaikh Isa highlighted Bahrain’s achievements in handball, including seven World Championship qualifications. He said these achievements reflect the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and SCYS chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Khalid.
Shaikh Isa also commended the efforts of the BHF, emphasising BOC’s full support for the team.
