The inaugural festival in 2023 brought more than 750 athletes across 12 sports while the second edition saw a remarkable surge in participation with nearly 2,000 athletes competing in 16 diverse disciplines including dedicated competitions for people of determination – translating Alba’s commitment to inclusivity.
Alba’s chief executive Ali Al Baqali said: “We are excited to once again partner with ISAF to organise the Alba Sports Festival for the third consecutive year, coinciding with Bahrain annual Sports Day celebrated in February.
“This festival underlines our unwavering dedication to supporting sporting endeavours within our community, fostering a healthy lifestyle amongst the Bahraini youth and empowering them to reach their full potential.
Al Baqali added: “The Alba Sports Festival offers a unique platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their talents, engage in their favorite sports, and connect with fellow athletes and sports enthusiasts under one roof. We are equally proud to integrate people of determination and orphans through several activities, in co-operation with NGOs, fostering an inclusive environment for all members of society.”

This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to support young athletes in the kingdom and promote the principle of ‘sports for all.’
