Riyadh- Under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the 13th International Association of Police Academies (INTERPA) conference opened in Riyadh today.
Director-general of Passport Directorate, Lieutenant General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, inaugurated the event, titled "Artificial Intelligence in Policing." The conference, which includes a seminar on artificial-intelligence (AI) applications in security, explores the role of AI in law enforcement.
The director-general of King Fahd Security College, Major General Dr. Ali Al-Duaij, thanked the interior minister for his support of innovation in the security sector.
Attendees watched a documentary and participated in discussions on AI in policing. The conference also features an exhibition showcasing the latest security technologies. The event, held at the InterContinental Hotel in Riyadh, concludes November 13.
