CUE SPORTS – BAHRAIN’S billiards and snooker national teams are taking part in the Arab Billiards and Snooker Championship 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The competition has got underway and will continue until Wednesday next week.
The kingdom’s delegation is headed by Bahrain Billiards, Snooker and Darts Federation (BBSDF) board member Hussain Bubshait, and it includes administrator Hamad Dhaif.
There are four snooker players and five for billiards. The snooker participants are Habib Sabah, Hisham Al Saqer, Abdulla Alali, and Hussain Aqeel. They will be going for gold in their respective categories.
In billiards, the men’s players include Ebrahim Al Qaed, Hussain Maroom, and Haider Maroom, while Nahla Sunni and Aisha Buhazza will be competing in the women’s events.
The Bahrainis will be looking to do one better than the previous edition of the competition, which was held in December of last year, where they came third overall.
