EQUESTRIAN – Preparations for the upcoming events being organised by the Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (Breef) were discussed during board of directors’ meeting of the federation.
The meeting chaired by Breef president Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, was held at the federation’s headquarters. It was attended by the board members, including secretary Galeb Al Alawi, treasurer Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, board member Shaikh Nasser bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Board Member, showjumping committee head Shaikh Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, assistant secretary Dr Khaled Ahmed Hassan, and public relations, media, and marketing committee head Tawfiq Al Salehi.
Shaikh Isa commended the remarkable efforts of the board members in elevating the sports under the federation’s umbrella. Meanwhile, the president and board members emphasised their commitment to implementing the directives of His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Breef honourary president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. They highlighted the importance of promoting endurance racing, showjumping, dressage, and Arabian horse beauty, expressing their appreciation for his continued support to the federation.
The meeting reviewed the financial status of the federation and also discussed the events organised in the past, as well as the preparations for the upcoming National Day Endurance Championship, scheduled for next month, and the upcoming showjumping, dressage, and Arabian horse beauty competitions.
The board also discussed a new marketing strategy to be implemented in the coming period, stressing the significance of engaging the private sector in supporting the federation and its events.
Shaikh Isa affirmed the federation’s commitment to achieving success in the upcoming championships, stating that Breef would strive to elevate all equestrian sports and create an ideal environment for all participants.
