A CLAMPDOWN launched by the Muharraq Municipality over the first half of this year to get rid of abandoned and scrap cars has paid off.The municipal authorities have intervened to remove 67 vehicles which were abandoned in residential areas as their owners failed to respond to administrative notifications .
