Dubizzle Group (formerly EMPG), the Dubai-based unicorn that owns and operates classifieds platforms across the Greater Mena region, has announced the appointment of Pablo Londono as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Dubizzle Group, Londono was Amazon’s Mena CFO. He worked in finance leadership positions at Amazon for 15 years across three continents, including roles in the US as well as CFO for Italy and Spain.
He acquired his Bachelor’s in Production Engineering followed by an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, with experience spanning various industries, including Technology, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Operations Research.
Pivotal role
The CEO of Bayut & dubizzle and Head of Dubizzle Group Mena, Haider Khan welcomed Londono on board and said he would be playing a pivotal role in implementing the group’s future strategies.
