Ombudswoman Ghada Hamid Habib received a US Congress delegation as part of co-operation with various parties interested in learning about its role and tasks in Bahrain.
The delegation was briefed on the competencies of the watchdog in relation to the law enforcement agencies, the monitoring rehabilitation centres, and other penal justice institutions .
