Sunlife, a luxury hotel group based in Mauritius, has launched the new Buddha-Bar Beach experience at its five-star property Sugar Beach, Mauritius.
The new launch was revealed to the UAE travel industry at Buddha-Bar Dubai, organised with partners at dnata.
World-renowned for its Asian and Mediterranean gastronomy and lively entertainment, the popular Buddha-Bar Beach at Sugar Beach in Mauritius has reopened with an expansion to double the restaurants’ capacity and offer a new beach bar concept designed around a perfect Mauritian sunset – based on a pristine beach on the island’s gorgeous West Coast.
Live music sessions, DJ performances and local artists' shows on a new beachfront entertainment area will offer an upscale day-to-night experience.
To celebrate the new Buddha-Bar Beach at Sugar Beach, the UAE travel industry was invited to Buddha-Bar at Grosvenor House, Dubai to try ‘Easy Sips’ – a new non-alcoholic cocktail collection by Sunlife designed to respond to the emerging trend for healthier living, and tropical fresh ingredients from Mauritius.
David Boodhoo, Beverage Manager at Sugar Beach, previously awarded ‘Barman of Mauritius’ at World Class Indian Ocean, made the trip to Dubai to present the new cocktail menu, now on offer for guests at the Mauritius-based beach bar. Joelle Edwards-Tonks, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer and Ramesh Jeenarain, VP Sales at Sunlife were also in Dubai for this special event.
