Como Hotels and Resorts, an award-winning, family-owned group of 15 hotels and resorts worldwide, recently conducted its first-ever General Managers Roadshow in the Middle East.
“We covered trade events in Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait and Riyadh – in addition, in Dubai we also hosted our media lunch,” said Felipe Gomez, Global Director of Sales, Middle East. “In Riyadh, we also had an event in collaboration with one of our trade partners – this was for Saudi social media influencers and media personalities.”
Como The Halkin in London, has re-opened last September after an elegant up-lifting of its spacious 41 rooms and suites.
“The Middle East market is extremely important for us, representing one of the top feeder markets in some of our destinations like London or Thailand. Qatar and Saudi are also on top of our business from the Middle East,” Gomez added.
“We identified also the high potential for other destinations where we have presence like Bali, Italy and Maldives, hence we opened our Middle East Global Sales Office back in 2020. Como Laucala Island in Fiji, Como Uma in Bhutan and Como Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos can also benefit and we must continue increasing destination awareness too.” – TradeArabia News Service
