Manama: In implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to provide the needed support to the affected people in Syria and Turkiye following the devastating earthquake which rocked both countries recently, Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) operated its first humanitarian relief flight, through the Royal Bahrain Air Force, to Turkiye with 55.7 tonnes onboard, including medical equipment, tents as well as food and logistic aid .
