Seven sitting municipal councillors have made a comeback by securing their seats in the 2022 National Elections.
The council elections also set a new record with sitting councillor from Muharraq Governorate Ahmed Al Megahwi bagging the highest number of votes (8,589) in the first round of voting held on Saturday .
