THE Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park (LPOD) as announced that it will reopen its doors from the first day of Eid Al Fitr, from 10am to 10pm daily.
Bahrain’s biggest water park will host DJs and performers to celebrate the three days of Eid Al Fitr, in addition to organising a variety of family-friendly activities that will be announced on its social media accounts prior to the opening.
In preparation for the event, LPOD has announced a newly-designed beach concept to replace its previous wave pool, a new virtual reality experience for gaming fanatics called VR World and many new exiting changes for families.
Following the directives issued by the kingdom’s National Taskforce to Combat the Coronavirus (Covid-19), LPOD has taken all precautionary measures and applied health and safety protocols approved by the Health Ministry including ensuring social distancing throughout the park for the health and safety of visitors.
The water park was also awarded the Safeguard Label by Bureau Veritas for implementing policies and procedures aligned with local regulatory requirements for good hygiene and health and safety practices.
“We remain diligent in our pursuit of safety and security first and foremost for all of our guests,” said LPOD chief executive officer Dr Essa Faqeeh.
“That said, we have also taken great strides during our closure in preparing new and exciting experiences to reward our guests upon our return.”
Tickets are currently being sold at a 15 per cent discount on the water park’s online ticketing page and all those who have been vaccinated and have the green shield on their BeAware Bahrain mobile app as well as those who have recovered from Covid-19 will be permitted entry.
The Lost Paradise of Dilmun is located at Al Areen Development in the Southern Governorate and includes a variety of outdoor water activities in addition to indoor and outdoor entertainment as well as various food outlets for visitors to enjoy.
The water park has won several international awards over the years including being named one of the largest water parks in the region.
