Manama: Bahrain’s largest consumer products fair, which ends today, has attracted more than 144,000 visitors in its first week.
The 27th annual Autumn Fair, held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, attracted shoppers from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia while acting as an important sourcing venue for distributors and agents in the Gulf region.
Products on sale included arts and crafts, beauty products, clothing and fashion accessories, electrical goods and appliances, furniture, specialty foods, textiles and toys.
A total of 750 exhibitors from 21 countries are taking part.
From January 26 to February 2, the fair recorded 144,350 visitors.
The total number of visitors for 2015 was 205,931.
Admission fee to the fair is 800 fils.
Children aged under nine gain free entry.
Today the fair will be open from 10am to 10pm.
