3 mafia gangs consisting of 13 thieves have been arrested by Royal Oman police designated in Al Batinah North Governorate.
The criminals had committed 81 theft crimes in different locations, from residential properties to companies to super markets.
33 of the thefts took place in Al Batinah North Governorate which have not been reported.
Police said that criminals set fire after each robbery to blur the crime scene adding that citizens and residents should report such crimes immediately.
The thieves are still being probed on their robberies awaiting the court’s decision.
