Muscat: An ambitious plan to build the longest zip-line in Oman was unveiled as part of efforts to boost the tourism sector, Times of Oman reported.
Oman's Ministry of Tourism announced the planned construction of the zip-line in Al Hamra.
The zip-line will be operated in Misfat Al Abriyeen village, in order to enhance tourist activity in the area.
The Ministry of Tourism signed an agreement for the implementation and operation of the zip-line project in the village in Wilayat Al Hamra.
The project operation will be shared between Al Masfah Company as the owner, Oman Refreshments Company as the funder, and Ministry of Tourism as technical advisor and supervisor of the project.
