More than 500 Bahrainis and expatriates came together yesterday in a strong show of unity, solidarity and loyalty.
The special Bahrain Is United national initiative, held at the Crowne Plaza Conference Centre, brought together students, poets, musicians, artists, religious leaders, community representatives, ambassadors and other notable guests, who signed a pledge of allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad.
Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for Bahrain’s leadership, sovereignty and security, while strongly condemning recent Iranian aggression. They stressed that no external threat would weaken the bonds uniting the people of the kingdom.
Speaking at the event, This Is Bahrain chairperson Betsy Mathieson said: “We all stand together in loyalty to His Majesty the King and in gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Government of Bahrain, the Bahrain Defence Force, National Guard, the Ministry of Interior, Civil Defence, emergency services, volunteers, and all those who work tirelessly to keep our nation safe.”
