Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani held a telephone call with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud.
The two ministers reviewed the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral co-operation across various fields.
They also exchanged views on regional developments, particularly the continued Iranian attacks on GCC countries, efforts to safeguard maritime navigation, and the implications of Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz on energy security, global supply chains, and the world economy.
The call also included co-ordination on issues currently before the UN Security Council.
