Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday received US Ambassador Stephanie Hallett, in the presence of Chief of Police Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan.
He commended the close relations and growing strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in the area of security co-operation.
Gen Shaikh Rashid underscored the shared commitment of both countries to advancing co-operation and exchange of expertise in several areas of joint security work.
The meeting reviewed security co-operation programmes and discussed topics aimed at further enhancing co-ordination in a manner that serves the interests of the two countries.
