An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck areas of southern UAE this afternoon, with parts of Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam reporting light tremors.
According to the Emirati National Centre of Meteorology, the quake hit at a relatively shallow depth of 5km.
No damage or injuries have been reported.
