A couple in Sharjah tragically lost their 29-year-old son in a car crash on Saturday, 11 years after his only brother was killed in another road accident.
Egyptian expat Amr Hesham, who worked with a Dubai-based charity foundation, died after his car crashed into a pole in Dubai on Saturday morning.
Hesham was rushed to a nearby hospital but did not survive the accident as the pole reportedly went through his lower body.
Gulf News reported that the young man’s parents, Dr Hesham Abdel Halim and Yasmeen Hesham, are both hospitalised after falling ill from grief following their son’s death.
The grieving parents suffered a similar tragic loss when their younger son, Kareem Hesham, died in a car crash at the age of 14.
Hesham was laid to rest next to his brother in Sharjah on Sunday.
