Saudi authorities apprehended two Ethiopian nationals after one allegedly shot and killed an Indian resident during a dispute over the purchase of illegal substances in Jeddah.
According to Saudi police, one of the suspects opened fire and injured the victim, who was transported to a nearby hospital. He later died from his wounds.
Investigations revealed that both suspects were involved in drug and contraband trafficking within the area and were also found to be violating border security regulations.
The two men were apprehended and have since been referred to the Public Prosecution in accordance with standard legal procedures.
