A US woman was horrified to find a package filled with human arms and fingers at her door instead of the urgent medicine she had ordered.
The Kentucky native reportedly called 911 after receiving the package, saying, “We were expecting a delivery of urgent medication that was flown in on like a Nashville airport thing, and they delivered two boxes. We opened one box and it turned out to be human body parts for transplant; it’s very medicinal.”
“We’re trying to know where it goes. We just didn’t want to be in the possession of body parts that don’t belong to us,” she continued in the 911 call obtained by TV station WSMV.
Emergency responders called in the county coroner, Scott Daniel, to retrieve the package, which contained two arms and four digits.
According to the coroner, the package was originally intended to be sent from Nashville to a school or hospital for surgical training, but had been misdelivered. A courier has since collected the body parts from the coroner's office.
The woman also got the emergency medicine and medical supplies she had originally ordered a day later, according to the coroner.
