MMA – BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF), the world’s fastest-growing and most international mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation, is set to bring its electrifying brand of top-tier action back to Slovenia, in partnership with World Freefight Challenge (WFC).
BRAVE CF 102 takes place at Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana on November 23, marking the promotion’s sixth trip to the nation – and it comes with a massive heavyweight main event.
Slovenia’s very own Miha Frlic will face Polish powerhouse Patryk Dubiela in a pivotal clash that could determine the next challenger to BRAVE CF heavyweight world champion Pavel ‘The Experiment’ Dailidko.
BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid stated: “This main event is everything a BRAVE CF card should be about – national pride, international rivalry, and world-class talent on display.
“We are thrilled to return to Slovenia, a country that has embraced BRAVE CF like no other, and to deliver a marquee heavyweight clash worthy of this great stage.
“Miha Frlic is carrying the hopes of Slovenia, while Patryk Dubiela is determined to reclaim his shot at glory. It’s the perfect storm for an unforgettable night of MMA.”
With an outstanding professional record of 5-0-1, Frlic has established himself as one of Europe’s most promising heavyweights, known for his knockout power and relentless pace.
He has already made waves inside the BRAVE CF cage, including a spectacular stoppage win over Shah Kamali at BRAVE CF 96 this past June – a bout already being touted as a 2025 Fight of the Year candidate.
A victory in front of his home crowd at BRAVE CF 102 could propel Frlic into history, potentially becoming the first Slovenian mixed martial artist to vie for a coveted BRAVE CF world title.
But standing in his way is Dubiela, a dangerous and well-rounded finisher from Poland, with two wins by knockout and two via submission in six career victories.
He first captured attention with a blistering 48-second knockout of Kasim Aras at BRAVE CF 81 in April of 2024, which propelled him into a world title encounter against Dailidko later that year.
With another golden opportunity on the horizon, Dubiela now seeks redemption – and a potential blockbuster rematch with the reigning divisional king.
With both men just one win away from a potential crack at Dailidko’s throne, BRAVE CF 102 is set to define the future of the heavyweight division.
Fans can expect nothing less than fireworks when two of Europe’s finest collide in Ljubljana.
