TABLE TENNIS – BAHRAIN’S Kenda Mahmood struck gold in the girls’ under-13 singles category at the Arab National Teams Table Tennis Championships 2025, which have come to a close in Casablanca, Morocco.
Kenda secured her title after beating her Iraqi opponent 3-1 in the final.
Kenda had also captured the gold teamed up with Hessa Abdulrahman in the girls’ under-13 doubles, where they defeated their Syrian opponents in the final 3-2.
Elsewhere, Bahrain’s Rashed Sanad won the bronze medal in the senior men’s singles event.
Meanwhile, a number of Bahraini teams were awarded their medals amongst the latest closing ceremonies.
They included Nasser Alawi and Hassan Ebrahim, who struck gold in the boys’ under-13 doubles after beating their Tunisian rivals 3-0 in their final; Shawq Al Dosari and Hoor Al Saeed, who won bronze in the girls’ under-11 doubles; Ali Yousef and Hadi Hussain, who claimed bronze in the boys’ under-15 doubles; Dana Mohammed Al Khayyat and Rayan Emad Kamel in the girls’ under-15 doubles, who also took home bronze; and Ali Hussain Al Hashemi and Hussain Jaafar who came away with bronze in the boys’ under-11 doubles.
