A passenger sustained injuries following a malfunction of the water slide aboard the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Icon of the Seas.
This incident occurred when an acrylic glass panel broke while the individual was using the slide.
The guest is currently receiving medical treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
Footage from the incident shows water surging from the section of the slide where the glass panel broke.
As a precautionary measure, the water slide has been closed for the remainder of the cruise until further investigation.
The cruise is scheduled to return to Miami by Saturday.
