A mechanic working on a 2015 Ford Edge found a wallet inside the car's air box while replacing the cooling fans, containing a Ford Assembly employee's ID card.
The wallet had been there since the assembly, 11 years ago.
The mechanic was surprised by the discovery, and he contacted the wallet's owner, who immediately asked, "Did you find it in a car?"
The Ford car has accumulated over 150,000 miles over the past decade with the wallet in its air box.
The wallet was returned to its owner with everything intact.
