Bahrain sets a pioneering model in respecting human rights and fundamental freedoms thanks to its advanced legislation and specialised institutions, Acting Attorney General and Chief of the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Mohammed Khalid Al Hazaa has affirmed.In an interview with our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej, the SIU chief noted that since the unit’s establishment, its work mechanisms have seen remarkable development, especially as the unit is a unique entity in the region with a specific and precise mandate .
