An employee of a rehabilitation centre has been referred for trial by the Public Prosecution for allegedly mistreating special needs children.
According to the Family and Child Prosecution, a report was received about the accused from the Social Development Ministry stating that during a routine inspection the man, only described as an ‘Arab national’, was found physically and psychologically abusing the children .
