Twenty-two defendants and two commercial establishments have been referred to the Lower Criminal Court for trial for allegedly possessing and distributing expired and spoiled food products after altering their expiration dates.
According to first chief prosecutor and assistant attorney general Wael Buallay, Public Prosecution has completed its investigation into the case, and further legal processes are underway .
