A sneaky seagull gets revenge on a man who was installing anti-bird spikes in a Cornish town in the UK.
Maintenance worker Darren Pardoe spent the day bird-proofing houses in Porthleven before deciding to pause for a quick cup of coffee.
While briefly talking to someone, he was surprised to turn around to find a gull helping itself to the fresh brew.
As soon as the bird noticed Pardoe, it grabbed the entire mug and flew away.
“I turned around and sure enough a seagull had its beak in my coffee... the next minute, the bird picked up the coffee cup by its handle and took off across the harbour with it. It flew around the harbour and then landed on the water, put the cup down, and the cup just sank.”
He jokingly added, “I think it had remembered me.”
Pardoe was able to snap a picture of the culprit flying away in mid-air with the legendary coffee mug held in its beak.
